In the year 2067, the concentration of nitrogen in the atmosphere increases and leads to climate change and the imminent death of mankind. Cooper, a former NASA pilot, lives with his family in the American countryside, suffering from crop failures and dust storms. His daughter Murph tells him that her room is haunted by a ghost who drops books from the shelves.
Cooper realizes that the anomalous phenomena are not imaginary and discovers patterns in the ghost's actions. Analyzing them, he calculates the coordinates of the laboratory, which turns out to be a secret division of NASA.

Cooper discovers Dr. Mann sleeping in an anabiosis, who tells him that the planet is a good candidate for colonization, but when he tries to investigate it is immediately revealed that Dr. Mann falsified the results of the study in order to be taken away.

Cooper manages to dock and stabilize the ship and is carried to Gargantua. He decides to take a desperate step to use a gravitational maneuver, pass close to Gargantua’s event horizon and send the ship to the third planet on the remaining fuel.
Cooper crosses the event horizon and falls into a black hole. He is catapulted out of the collapsing ship and after some time, his fall slows. The TARS robot tells Cooper by radio that they have fallen into a five-dimensional space.

The solution to our problems is in our hands alone, and the scale is not important, whether it is the solution to the problems of humanity as a whole or the solution to local issues.
